Household Hazardous Materials

Each year the recycling committee sets up a collection of hazardous household products. The collection is held Saturday, October 7, 2023, this year. The collection site is located at the water treatment plant at 815 Main Street East in Hawkesbury.

Products accepted are corrosive, flammable and poisonous products. See posters for more information on accepted products. HHWD EN

Used Batteries

The Township of East Hawkesbury has set up a container to recycle used batteries. Type AAA, AA, C, D and 6- & 9-Volt batteries can be brought to the Township Hall reception.
