The East Hawkesbury Fire Department has issued a total fire ban across the township, effective Friday, August 8, 2025. ALL outdoor fires are prohibited until further notice, including those with fire permits. Any previously approved permits are suspended for the duration of the ban. Cooking appliances fueled by natural gas or propane are permitted.
