The municipality is looking for a dynamic Director of Public Works to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to municipal infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing municipal assets, planning projects and budgets, and supervising the department's day-to-day operations. They will work closely with senior management and the municipal council to ensure the maintenance and development of roads, municipal buildings, parks, and other infrastructure.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and plan the maintenance of municipal infrastructure.
• Work closely with the treasurer to prepare and monitor the budget, calls for tenders, and grant applications.
• Supervise and manage public works staff.
• Respond to citizen requests and collaborate with contractors and partners.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Qualifications: experience in public works or municipal management, leadership, and strong organizational skills.
Assets: knowledge of municipal asset management, government grants, and tendering processes.
