Short-Terme Rentals
The new Short Term Rental By-law No. 2023-05 will make it mandatory to obtain a licence to rent a residence or part of a residential dwelling for a period of thirty (30) consecutive calendar days or less.
- Proof of residence (ex: drivers licence);
- proof of insurance for Short-Term Rental use;
- proof that the well water is safe to drink;
- proof of certified letter from the Fire Chief;
- a copy of a Safety Plan including the location of smoke alarms on each floor, the location of CO alarms, the location of mounted fire extinguishers on each floor including kitchen, and establiched escape routes for each bedroom in case of emergency.
- proof of certified letter from the By-Law officer that there is no building outstanding work order open and
- pay the Licence fee of 1000$.

**An administrative penalty that is not paid may be added to the tax roll to the property to which it applies and collected in the same manner as taxes.
